Author's note

Olivia, designed by Benoit Sjoholm, is a free high-contrast serif with tall proportions, a narrow stance, deep curves, and sharply changing stroke widths. Broad curves meet needle-fine hairlines beneath oversized round dots.

Fashion and beauty brands aimed at an upscale market are the clearest audience for its poised, luxurious drawing, particularly in logos and premium packaging. Its dramatic shapes also suit editorial covers and formal invitations, where the sweeping curves can echo close-cropped photography, fabric folds, or restrained ornament. The style draws on Didone elegance, making it especially convincing for cosmetics, couture, and refined cultural events with a distinctly theatrical edge.
