One Constant by Tom Murphy is a free handwritten display font with tall, uneven letters and loose marker-like strokes. Rounded forms meet sharp bends, and the shifting angles give the lettering a deliberately improvised look.
It is especially convincing on music posters, where its restless shapes can echo the urgency of punk and indie artwork. The same rough construction suits album packaging and event flyers, particularly when the lettering is treated as part of an illustrated scene. In magazine publishing, it can turn a feature heading into a hand-drawn editorial element rather than conventional typesetting.
