Author's note

One Wild Line, designed by Isabel Fernández and Juan Casco, is a free handwritten font with an exuberant network of loops and curls. Its thin strokes sweep far beyond the basic letter shapes and create broad flourishes above and below the line. Nearly every form seems to turn back on itself.

Wedding invitations are an especially apt setting for this decorative lettering, whose long loops can echo ribbons and ornamental borders. It also suits boutique branding and album artwork with a romantic or theatrical direction. Invitations remain its clearest role because the writing already behaves like decoration.
