Author's note

Onomatopaf is a free cartoon dingbat font devoted to hand-drawn sound effects. Its lively collection mixes jagged bursts, rounded bubble forms, shaky outlines, speed marks, and explosive lettering, each with an uneven inked finish.

Comic panels are its clearest home. Crashes, reactions, and noisy action also suit game graphics, children's activity pages, and playful event posters. On packaging or merchandise, a sound-effect emblem can become part of the illustration rather than act like ordinary text.
