Opulent Fiend by Andrew McCluskey is a free modern Gothic display font with a severe, angular profile. Tall capitals use broad vertical strokes, abrupt diagonal cuts, and narrow interior spaces. Several letters resemble folded metal blades.
Its hard-edged construction can give heavy-metal album covers a custom logo-like voice. The same monumental shapes suit horror film titles, where the pointed joins suggest menace without relying on distressed texture. Streetwear graphics and gaming posters offer another home for its armor-like forms.
