Author's note

Ordre de Depart is a free dot-matrix digital display font with the open proportions of an electronic sign. Rounded dots create soft edges, and generous gaps inside each letter keep the pattern airy. Its repeated circular marks give the lettering a measured electronic pulse.

The dot pattern can echo indicator lights, scoreboard graphics, or punched-card textures in posters and event branding. It also suits arcade game screens and music packaging with a retro-futurist direction. Across these uses, the recurring lights turn words into part of the graphic system.
