Author's note

Overlock Black by Dario Muhafara is a free decorative display font with broad, dark letters and a lively hand-cut silhouette. Stroke widths shift sharply, giving the rounded forms a punchy, uneven color. Several letters lean or flare at the ends.

A children's book cover is an especially good home for its oversized, comic shapes. The same buoyant lettering can shape toy packaging, festival posters, and playful food branding, where it feels more drawn than typeset. Its crooked curves and exaggerated weight connect those uses to cartoon illustration and lighthearted entertainment.
