PaFFile Serif by Rafael Paffile is a free high-contrast display serif with broad, blunt serifs, stout horizontal strokes, and much slimmer vertical details that give the capitals an eccentric silhouette. The rounded ends keep the lettering lively.
Posters are its strongest setting, especially for theater, music, and arts events where the oversized bars and compact letter shapes can become part of the graphic motif rather than ordinary titling. The same quirky form suits confectionery packaging, independent book covers, and small entertainment brands, giving labels and logos a recognizable, slightly comic product identity.
