Author's note

PakType Tehreer by Mohammad Hanif, is a free Arabic calligraphic font with a handwritten, newspaper-heading feel. The letters look brisk and compact, with tapered strokes, sharp turns, and a lively rightward movement that gives the line a quick, editorial rhythm rather than a formal monumental tone.

That energy makes it a natural fit for Urdu and Arabic mastheads, cultural posters, book covers, magazine headings, and title cards where a few words need gesture as much as text. As a free font, it also suits short pull quotes, section openers, and identity work that benefits from its fast, penned character.
