PanicButton BB by Nate Piekos of Blambot.com is a free futuristic display font built from massive block forms. Sharp diagonal cuts and rectangular openings break up the solid letters, giving the design the hard mechanical look of warning panels or arcade hardware.
Comic covers and electronic music posters suit its compressed, forceful shapes, though each draws on a different side of the design. It can give game interfaces and apparel graphics a blunt industrial edge. In a game screen, the squared openings and sliced corners can turn lettering into part of the control-panel artwork rather than ordinary text.
