Paranoya by wylly of FontStruct is a free angular Greek display font built from stark, jagged strokes. Its letterforms turn sharply through stepped diagonals, with uneven edges that suggest cut paper or a crude electronic signal. The shapes are lean and tense.
A poster for experimental music is its most convincing setting, since the broken geometry can echo distorted sound and abrasive graphics. The same hard-edged construction can also suit game title cards, underground magazine covers, and merchandise for techno or industrial events, but posters make the clearest use of its fractured silhouette.
