PeixesESubpeixes by Matias Romero is a free decorative display font built around striped, high-contrast letterforms. Multiple fine strokes run through the broad capitals, giving their classical proportions an unusual engraved texture. Rounded lowercase forms soften the more architectural shapes.
It is especially suited to poster titles, where the alternating solid and lined sections can become a central graphic device. The repeated stripe motif also connects neatly with fashion branding, music packaging, and editorial covers influenced by optical pattern.
