Pen War by Xerographer Fonts is a free distressed script font with the nervous sweep of frantic pen lettering. Thin strokes whip into oversized loops, spikes, and tangled crossings, leaving an erratic, scratched silhouette.
Its unruly line suits punk music posters and experimental fashion branding, two settings that welcome lettering with a raw edge. It can also push horror title cards and underground magazine covers toward a harsher, more personal register. Long flourishes can merge with ink splatters or rough illustration so the wording becomes part of the artwork.
