Author's note
PerSPire by Sean Liew is a free pixel display font built from hard-edged, rectangular strokes. Its broad geometric forms have abrupt steps and open breaks that recall early low-resolution graphics. The lettering feels spare, rigid, and mechanical.
Game studios are its clearest audience. Arcade title screens and electronic music posters can use its severe modular shapes, with merchandise extending the same machine-made attitude. The broken geometry also fits digital graphics concerned strongly with retro computing, robotics, and industrial science fiction.
