Author's note

PF Calla by David E. Howerton of Planck Foam Scholarly Dragon Press is a free floral display font built from stately serif capitals and finely drawn calla lilies. Broad, solid letterforms provide a formal framework, with slender flower stems cutting through the strokes and open blossoms rising above them.

The calla lily drawings let the lettering function as both a title and botanical illustration, an especially apt treatment for wedding invitations and florist branding. It also suits garden event signage and botanical publishing, where the repeated blooms connect words directly to the subject. Its clearest audience is designers working for florists, wedding planners, and elegant garden venues.
