Author's note

Pf I Read003 by David E. Howerton of Planck Foam Scholarly Dragon Press is a free illustrated display font combining stout slab-serif capitals with intricate line drawings. A recurring group of bearded, robed characters occupies each letter, turning the alphabet into a row of miniature fantasy scenes. The contrast is stark.

Fantasy book covers are the clearest setting for this storybook approach, since the figures become part of the title itself. Tabletop game graphics, themed merchandise, and storytelling posters could use the same mixture of forceful lettering and old-fashioned pen work. In each context, the repeated characters tie the words directly to folklore, quests, and illustrated adventure.
