Author's note

Pf I Read007 by David E. Howerton of Planck Foam Scholarly Dragon Press is a free illustrated display font with a playful literary theme. Broad, rounded slab letters form a backdrop for a recurring storybook scene of a reader riding a small dragon, turning the characters into ornamental initials.

Fantasy and bookish subjects make it well suited to children's publishing and library event posters. The repeated figure can also become part of the artwork on reading-club merchandise. For bookshop branding, lettering and comic illustration combine into an emblem.
