PF Memorial Day by David E. Howerton of Planck Foam Scholarly Dragon Press is a free patriotic display font built from imposing slab-serif capitals. The letters have broad, upright strokes and blunt, flared feet. Tiny soldier silhouettes march across their upper edges, turning the alphabet into a commemorative border.
It can turn an event title into an illustrated memorial. That device suits remembrance posters, veterans' materials, and historical exhibits because military imagery is woven into the forms. Its clearest audience is civic groups and community organizers preparing solemn patriotic events.
