Author's note

PF Skyrocket by David E. Howerton of Planck Foam Scholarly Dragon Press is a free cartoon display font built around explosive illustrated letterforms. Each chunky, irregular letter sits inside a rounded burst with a scratchy, ink-splattered rim. A small mechanical cap above each shape makes the forms resemble rockets, bombs, or hanging ornaments.

Retro science fiction and comic-book action are the clearest themes, making it a lively fit for game graphics and children's publishing. It can also give toy packaging or novelty merchandise the look of a printed sound effect. In illustrated posters, every letter can function as its own explosive emblem rather than ordinary title lettering.
