PF Veryverybadfont19, from Planck Foam Scholarly Dragon Press, is a free curly display font with a scruffy hand-drawn swirl running through the whole alphabet. The letters feel like black signpainting wrapped in loose spiral doodles, so the heavy caps read as bold shapes first while the repeated curls keep it playful, messy, and a little psychedelic.
This free font makes the most sense where you want the lettering itself to act like ornament: posters, zine covers, band flyers, party invites, and title cards all suit its tangled energy. It also works for short headlines, monograms, or drop caps, because those looping lines quickly fill space and turn a few letters into a decorative graphic.

When taking notes in class at meetings during a game etc when the person speaking has said the same thing three times and someone asks them to repeat it again I start doodling around the letters in my notes.
