Author's note

Phalyn is a free blackletter font with a sharp, calligraphic Gothic mood. The letters mix tall spear-like strokes with curled flourishes and pinched joins, giving the font an old-world, ceremonial pull without feeling brittle or overly dense.

It fits poster headlines, book covers, music artwork, packaging, and bar or cafe branding where that medieval edge helps set the tone. As a free font, Phalyn also works for title cards, invitation names, and short wordmarks, because its hooked details and dramatic vertical rhythm carry plenty of character in just a few letters.
