Author's note

Phlegmy Kilmister by Michael Gaines is a free scary eroded display font with the feel of a slimy horror-comic title. The letters look swollen and drippy, edged with a thick black outline and peppered with little pits and bubbles that make the whole alphabet feel damp, infected, and slightly cartoonish rather than grim.

That makes this free font a natural pick for Halloween posters, garage-band flyers, zine covers, B-movie title cards, and short merch graphics where the gooey silhouette can do most of the work. It also fits loud initials and brief headline words, because the heavy outline and sagging, blistered texture keep even a few letters feeling full of character.
