Author's note

Phobos, by Martin Holm, is a free modern gothic font with a hard, geometric attitude. The letters look cut from heavy blocks, with squared curves, sharp inner notches, and diagonal bites that give the font a stark, almost sci-fi poster feel rather than a historical blackletter one.

That makes this free font a natural fit for game logos, club flyers, album covers, title cards, and short poster headlines where you want compact shapes with a severe edge. It also works well for monograms and brief branding moments, because the dark mass and clipped angles make even a single letter feel graphic and deliberate.
