Author's note

PhoneStruct by Rob Meek of FSI FontShop International GmbH is a free geometric dingbat font built from severe right angles and rectangular masses. Thin rules meet broad solid forms, producing symbols with an architectural, diagram-like look. The construction is spare and exact.

Its modernist geometry suits technology branding and interface graphics, with echoes of circuits and modular systems. Posters and electronic music packaging can turn the hard-edged forms into structural motifs. In editorial design, the marks can divide sections or recur as diagram elements in technical magazines.
