Author's note

Phunji Mtavruli by Slava Meskhi is a free Georgian calligraphic display font with broad, ink-like strokes and dramatic changes in width. Its letters lean into tall curves, pinched joins, and sweeping hooks. The uneven silhouettes feel hand-drawn, with soft bulges meeting sharp bends and occasional tapered ends.

It is especially convincing in poster lettering, where its oversized curves can turn a title into part of the artwork, and the same theatrical quality suits festival graphics and music packaging. Children's publishing and playful food branding are also credible settings, since the rounded forms can echo loose illustration and lively drawn mascots.
