Author's note

Phutura by Andreas Nylin is a free modern display font with a clean retro-futurist pull. The caps feel built from broad, rounded rectangular paths, mixing soft outer curves with sharp cuts and deep vertical weight so the letters read like sleek signage from an imagined late-20th-century future.

That makes it a natural pick for posters, record sleeves, tech branding, title cards, and magazine cover lines where a few words need a bold synthetic mood. As a free font, it also suits logos, monograms, and short headings, because the repeated rounded corners and clipped inner spaces give even brief settings a strong, unified shape.
