Author's note

PiS Coffins and Ghosts by Polen im Schaufenster is a free cartoon display font built from irregular, hulking, hand-cut uppercase letterforms. Uneven edges and cramped inner spaces make the caps look spooky.

Halloween event posters are its clearest home, since the rough shapes suggest homemade haunted-house signs, carved props, and broad comic monsters. The same theatrical lettering can turn party invitations and candy packaging into part of the artwork, and it also suits children's activity books or seasonal magazine pages built around friendly ghosts, slapstick horror, and playful scares.
