Author's note

Pistyl by Odile Morales Ramirez of odilemr is a free handwritten font with airy, threadlike strokes and dramatically stretched loops. Its letters wander between tall arches, deep curves, and compact knots, giving the line an uneven but deliberate cadence. Small dots punctuate many of the forms.

It is most convincing in fashion branding, where the fine line and unusual silhouettes can turn a name into a delicate signature. Album artwork and event posters also suit its restless movement, especially for experimental music or contemporary performance. On stationery and personal invitations, the recurring dots can become decorative marks that connect the lettering with borders or drawn flourishes.
