Author's note

Pix Lite by Samuel Lapointe is a free digital display font with broad, rectilinear letters and a stark, extended arcade-machine profile. Deep notches give the alphabet a futuristic control-panel look.

An indie game title screen is its clearest setting, along with promotional graphics for projects rooted in retro technology. The wide proportions and sharp internal cuts also suit electronic-music posters, streetwear merchandise, and tech event graphics, where the lettering can become a logo-like device rather than ordinary text. Those recurring notches echo circuit paths and angular screen graphics, giving each application a direct visual link to early digital hardware.

Update: On September 7, 2012, the font name was changed because it was incorrect. BITXEL was the name originally used when creating the font, but it was later changed, and its properties were not updated.
