Author's note

Pixel Caps by Michelle Lehmann, credited as Mirz, is a free pixelated font with an abstract, code-like alphabet. Its stark signs favor right angles, squared openings, and long horizontal runs, forming compact silhouettes that recall circuitry, maze diagrams, and early computer displays.

Digital graphics are the clearest setting for these mechanical forms, especially game interfaces, animated title cards, and technology-themed social posts. They can also turn album packaging or event posters into coded visual systems, with each sign acting as graphic material. Their shared electronic subject matter connects these otherwise different applications.
