Author's note

PixelPlay by Shevchuk of FontStruct is a free narrow pixel font with the lanky proportions of an early computer title screen. Its letters stretch upward in slim, uneven silhouettes, with sharp notches and occasional gaps interrupting the vertical strokes. The overall weight stays surprisingly light and airy.

That wiry electronic look suits retro game menus and technology event posters, but it can also lend music packaging a raw digital edge. In arcade branding or streamer graphics, the tall lettering can become part of the interface itself, resembling a status readout rather than ordinary display type.
