Author's note

Pixelpunk Italic from Press Gang Studios is a free comic display font with a fiercely angular, forward-leaning silhouette. Its tall, uneven letters combine hacked-away corners, sudden wedges, and restless shifts in width, much like lettering slashed from a rough punk flyer.

Music and action themes are its clearest territory. The lettering suits gig posters and album covers because its sharp construction feels loud and physical, and it can push game graphics toward a scrappy arcade aesthetic. Skate labels and youth merchandise aimed at audiences drawn to underground comics, noisy bands, and DIY graphics are another convincing match for the typeface.
