PixelSix10 Font
Author's note
PixelSix10 by Cal Henderson is a free bitmap font with a blunt, early-screen attitude. The letters are built from chunky square pixels, with hard right angles and stepped corners that make the whole alphabet feel like it came straight off a late-1990s game menu or desktop interface.
That makes it a natural fit for retro game branding, zine covers, poster headlines, title cards, and short UI-style labels where the blocky rhythm can do the talking. As a free font, it also works well for mixtape graphics, tech event flyers, and quick monograms, especially when you want the caps to read like deliberate low-resolution design rather than a slick geometric sans.
