Author's note

PIXroma 8 by Pixelfonty is a free bitmap pixel font from 2005 with a chunky, screen-born rhythm that feels lifted from old menu bars and handheld game text. Its letters are built from square steps and hard corners, but the overall mood is not harsh - the rounded bends in forms like the visible lowercase give it a friendly, slightly toy-like edge.

This free font fits naturally in retro game branding, app icons, poster titles, zine headings, and UI-inspired graphics where that low-resolution snap is part of the message. It also works well for short labels, cover lines, and title cards, because the blocky grid keeps every word looking deliberate and compact.
