Pks Masry Bold by Andi Aw. Masry is a free high-contrast serif display font with a broad, dark silhouette. Thick rounded strokes meet fine joins, and wide serifs give the letters a distinctly traditional structure. Its generous curves soften the weight and keep the design lively rather than severe.
A book cover is its most convincing setting, especially for literary fiction or a publisher's imprint, and the same substantial forms suit heritage packaging and restaurant branding. In each case, the rounded serifs and swollen curves can echo engraved borders, ornamental frames, or vintage illustrations.
