Author's note

Plain Cred, by Ray Larabie, is a free modern caps display font with a cool late-90s editorial attitude. The letters feel stripped back and urban, mixing broad verticals with sharp diagonals and rounded corners so the whole font lands somewhere between geometric signage and sleek magazine titling.

It works well for posters, music packaging, streetwear branding, cover lines, and title cards where a few big words need a lean, graphic voice. As a free font, Plain Cred also suits monograms and short logotypes, because those clipped, simplified forms give even brief settings a deliberate, poster-like snap.
