Author's note

Play, designed by Jonas Hecksher of Playtype and e-types AS, is a free geometric sans serif with slim, even strokes. Its broad capitals sit beside compact lowercase forms, creating a clean but varied silhouette. Rounded bowls and flat-cut endings keep the drawing crisp.

Editorial covers are its strongest setting, with posters, cultural branding, and digital graphics following close behind. The restrained geometry gives those projects a contemporary voice, and the recurring round shapes can echo circles or icons.
