Playtoy by Dennis Ludlow is a free chunky retro display font with the blunt, toy-box energy its name suggests. The letters look thick, squat, and slightly softened at the corners, giving the font a bouncy, cut-from-wood feel rather than a slick geometric one.
That makes it a natural fit for packaging, kids' event posters, arcade-style logos, album covers, and short magazine cover lines where you want something loud and uncomplicated.
