Author's note

Pochaevsk, developed by Nikita Simmons and later adapted by Vladislav V. Dorosh, is a free Cyrillic ecclesiastical font with the weight and ceremony of old Church book lettering. The letters mix broad, sober forms with pointed accents and a few calligraphic turns, giving the font a liturgical, historical tone rather than a neutral one.

It fits book covers, museum graphics, Orthodox festival posters, title cards, and chapter openings where a free font can carry a strong Slavic sacred mood without feeling theatrical. Use it for short headlines, monograms, or drop caps when you want the tall accents and restrained ornament to do most of the work.
