Author's note

Poly Italic by Nicolas Silva is a free serif font with a poised, strongly slanted stance. Broad curves meet fine hairlines, and the capitals carry long, crisp serifs that sharpen their movement. The lowercase forms are more restrained, with narrow joins and generous sweeping curves.

It can give a fashion masthead or literary cover the air of a formal inscription. Restaurant branding and event invitations also suit its elegant contrast and forward motion. In packaging, it can become an engraved-style label or ornamental emblem.
