Ponsonby NF, by Nick Curtis, is a free Art Deco display font built from hefty black blocks and generous round cuts. The caps feel poster-sized and architectural, with a strict geometric rhythm that gives even simple words a streamlined, machine-age swagger.
That makes it a natural fit for branding, cocktail menus, book jackets, title cards, and storefront signage where a few letters need real graphic presence. As a free font, it also suits event posters and short cover lines, especially when you want the alphabet to behave more like bold shapes than ordinary lettering.
