Author's note

Pop Will Eat Itself, generated by Fontographer 4.1, is a free striped pop-art display font with a chunky, posterish attitude. The caps are built from heavy black silhouettes cut through with uneven horizontal bands, so the letters feel both solid and flickering, like hand-painted signage seen through a TV glitch.

It fits club flyers, zines, record sleeves, loud poster titles, and title cards where a free font can carry the whole graphic mood by itself. Because the letters read as bold blocks first and patterned forms second, it also works well for short cover lines and monogram-style marks that need a raw, urban edge.
