Author's note
Popcorn by Billy Argel is a free retro decorative display font with broad, roughly cut letterforms. Its uneven edges and abrupt interior gaps resemble shapes sliced from paper or painted through improvised stencils. Alternating narrow and wide forms create a lively, poster-like cadence.
It is convincing on music posters, festival graphics, and record packaging, where the silhouettes support a handmade vintage look. For apparel and food branding, the cut-paper quality can become part of the collage or label artwork.
