Author's note

PostCrypt, is a free scary display font with thick, melting caps that lean hard into horror-poster territory. The letters look swollen and drippy, with rounded tops and hanging drops that make the whole font feel wet, gummy, and a little theatrical rather than gritty.

That makes it a natural fit for Halloween flyers, haunted attraction branding, horror zine covers, novelty packaging, and campy title cards where the dripping silhouette does most of the talking. As a free font, it works best in short bursts - big headers, logo-style words, or opening initials - because the ooze effect is the point and it reads strongest when you give the letters room.
