Pot Roaster, Chris Brown's free hand-drawn comic display font from 1998, has the look of storybook lettering shaped with a brush and capped with little blob-like knobs. The letters feel loose and playful, with swinging curves, uneven rhythm, and a slightly messy bounce that keeps the style light rather than cute.
It fits poster titles, children's book covers, cafe branding, zine headings, and party invitations where a free font needs to feel informal and characterful without turning slick. Use it for short headlines, title cards, or big pull quotes, especially when those rounded tips and wobbly curves can do most of the talking.
