Powderfinger Smudged by Neumat Ick and Apostrophic Laboratories is a free fingerprint caps display font with a scruffy forensic-pop mood. The letters are built from looping ridge patterns and broken ink-like patches, so the whole set feels smeared, handled, and slightly mischievous rather than neat or geometric.
It fits posters, zines, record sleeves, Halloween flyers, and title cards where a free font can push a clue-board or crime-lab vibe without turning fully horror. The caps also work for short cover lines, monograms, and drop caps, because those whorled ridges give even a few letters the look of touched evidence.
