Author's note

PR Compass Rose by Peter Rempel is a free ancient-signs dingbat font built around heraldic emblems, navigational stars, and compass rose medallions. The set leans into old-map romance: sharp radiating points, ringed crests, and a fleur-de-lis motif give the letters a clear cartographic and medieval flavor without feeling fussy.

It fits naturally in fantasy book covers, pirate or exploration posters, game title cards, map legends, and branding for museums or reenactment events. As a free font, it is most convincing in short display roles - badges, chapter marks, logo seals, and decorative dividers - where those spiked star forms and crest-like symbols can do the talking.
