Author's note

Pre/Mono small experiment 3, designed by Gabriel Koulikov of FSI FontShop International GmbH, is a free experimental pixel font built from stark rectangular modules. The blocky, broken strokes resemble a low-resolution electronic signal.

It is most convincing in game title cards, where the sparse grid construction can become part of a retro interface rather than ordinary lettering. The same coded look suits electronic music posters and technology event graphics, especially when circuitry or glitch imagery supplies the surrounding theme. For indie game studios or experimental audio labels, it can shape a deliberately cryptic brand identity that recalls early computer displays and homemade digital hardware.
