Author's note

Press Start by Codeman38 is a free arcade bitmap font with the chunky, stepped rhythm of early Namco-era game lettering. Its letters are built from square pixels and clipped corners, giving the whole alphabet a cheerful 8-bit bounce rather than a cold grid.

It fits naturally in retro game branding, chiptune posters, streamer overlays, zine covers, and title cards where a free font can carry that old cabinet-screen mood without looking slick or modern. Because the shapes stay compact and blocky, it also works well for short headlines, menu labels, and logo-style words that need a clear hit of vintage play.
