Pressboard JL, a free military display font by Jeff Levine and Ray Larabie, channels old school stencil signage with heavy, blocky caps and square cutouts that feel punched from painted board. The letters look blunt and utilitarian, with hard corners, thick strokes, and notched joins that give the alphabet a rugged parade-ground rhythm.
This free font fits poster headlines, retro packaging, sports branding, pulp book covers, and title cards where that drilled, no-nonsense mood does the work fast.
